AV Week 2009, taking place October 18-24, promotes recognition of the AV industry. Each year, InfoComm International and its members sponsor workshops, presentations and other events around the globe to spotlight the audiovisual industry. This program enhances communications in many vertical markets and recognizes the AV professionals who manufacture, design and install AV technology in fixed installations and for staged events. InfoComm Seeks Lunch & Tour Venues InfoComm is looking to showcase exciting applications of AV during its fall Lunch & Tour series aimed at architects. If you’ve recently completed a project that exemplifies AV best practices and you can get permission from your client to host a group of architects for a lunch hour presentation and tour, please let us know. Corporate headquarters, law firms and performing arts centers are appealing to architects. The venues should be easily accessible with nearby parking and public transportation.
