AV Historians Project
InfoComm International's AV Historian Project is an oral living history project the association is spearheading as it approaches its 70th anniversary in 2009. InfoComm is capturing stories from audiovisual professionals in a portable recording booth.
AV industry veterans discuss the paths that have led them to pursue careers in the AV industry as systems integrators and dealers, rental and staging technicians, design consultants, presentation professionals and programmers.
"We believe that many in the AV industry have important stories to tell and there is value in preserving, sharing and listening to our heritage," says Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., Executive Director, InfoComm International.
